Apple ended the day at $67.81, up $0.50. Surprising considering Apple had a rough day, with the big news being that it was recalling 1.8 million batteries on its popular notebook lines sold between 2003-2006. These were its Sony batteries, and Sony has signed on to support their actions. I say this while typing on such a PowerBook sitting on my lap!
The other piece of news circulating the net today was Apple's paying Creative $100 million in a lawsuit over digital music players. It's a bit of a bite, but the iPod will continue on. As a result MacNN asks if the current price of Apple stock is actually at a discount. Something to think about.
